Jon Willis

Team Willis

Fencing is an individual combat sport but behind every elite athlete is a World Class support team. These are the members of TEAM WILLIS

The Willis Family

It is almost impossible to succeed in sport as a youngster without parental support. They helped fund my early career before there was any funding in the sport and my father, pretty much every weekend, drove me all around the country so I could learn my trade on the UK domestic circuit.

MattCooke2

Matt Cook

My first S&C coach when I was based at the EIS in Manchester. Matt still works with me as a consultant on the S&C programs I now write myself.

Andy Vincent

Andy started coaching me aged 15 and for 14 years we enjoyed the most successful relationship between a British coach and epée fencer ever. This only ended when I left Stockport Sword Club in March 2010 to move to Germany to fence for Heidenheim.
